I started this brand with just 30 t-shirts, a security job, and a restless vision. I was a full-time college student working overnight shifts in Houston, surrounded by friends chasing their dreams through entrepreneurship.
That energy rubbed off on me — I knew I was meant to build something, I just didn’t know what.

Night after night, sitting at that quiet mall desk, I brainstormed. I had no money to waste and no time to spare. Then one night it hit me — after seeing a friend collab with a clothing brand owner, I got a glimpse behind the curtain. It wasn’t just fashion — it was strategy, creativity, and impact. That challenge pulled me in.
I dug deep into what I was going through — a battle with self-identity. I wasn’t chasing trends. I was chasing truth — and that became the heartbeat of the brand. Xotic Issues was born from that moment. “Xotic” represents what makes us rare. “Issues” symbolizes the inner tension we feel when trying to embrace it.
This brand is about more than clothes. It’s a reminder that your uniqueness is your power. That being different is divine. That being yourself is enough.
